Beyt Al Chai
It’s a
romantic name from the history of
the building which in years gone
past, used to be a tea house.
Zanzibar’s nobility would meet on
the rooftop in the shade of the
swaying palms and enjoy a fantastic
spiced tea (specialty of the house)
chatting and laughing for hours
until they could admire the beauty
of the setting sun, all of which can
still be enjoyed from the beautiful
rooms of Beyt al Chai today.
